Common student pilot endorsements, worded after the FAA's sample endorsements in Advisory Circular 61-65. Type the student's name and aircraft once and every template fills in; copy the one you need into the logbook.
Pre-solo aeronautical knowledge
§61.87(b)
I certify that [student name] has satisfactorily completed the pre-solo knowledge test of §61.87(b) for the [make and model] aircraft.

Pre-solo flight training
§61.87(c)(1) and (2)

Solo flight (first 90 days)

Solo cross-country (category & class)

The FAA updates AC 61-65 from time to time. Check the current revision for the exact wording and any endorsement not listed here.
Solo endorsements under §61.87(n) and (p) and Class B under §61.95(a) last 90 days; the solo cross-country endorsement for a specific flight under §61.93(c)(2) covers that flight only.
The practical test endorsement under §61.103(f) must be within the 2 calendar months before the test (shown here as 60 days).
